CKBC Hosts Strategic Forum on Canada’s Indo-Pacific Trade Future

The Canada Korea Business Council (CKBC) recently hosted a successful Indo-Pacific Business Strategy Forum, designed to foster stronger ties and strategic discussions between Canadian and Korean business leaders. The event was organized in partnership with Vaughn MacLellan of DLA Piper.

The forum’s special guest and keynote speaker, Vina Nadjibulla from the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, delivered a timely address on the complexities of regional engagement. Ms. Nadjibulla provided valuable insights into both the significant challenges and expansive opportunities of doing business within the Indo-Pacific. The session concluded with an open and candid discussion that addressed Canada’s current weaknesses and necessary strategies in its trade diversification initiatives.

The CKBC expressed its sincere gratitude to the event’s generous sponsors: Mana Hosseini of Apex Innovative Investments Ventures, Roderick Elliot of Global Public Affairs, and Consul General Youngjae Kim of the Republic of Korea. The success of the forum was also attributed to the dedicated efforts of the CKBC team members, Kevin J Lee and Phillip Lee.

The organization affirmed its commitment to future engagement, stating that it looks forward to hosting more meaningful events across Canada. These forums aim to continually engage Canadian and Korean business leaders to build stronger partnerships and relationships between the two nations.
